BLESS USA takes every precaution to protect member information. When members submit information via our website, their information is protected. When a form asks a member to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number or address), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as a donation form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked.
We also do everything in our power to protect member information in house. All of our member information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only volunteers who need the information to perform a specific job (our Member Services Group) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All volunteers are aware of our privacy practices.   We do not share our mailing list with any other entity.
