Assistance for the Underdeveloped offers training and provisions to help individuals develop a trade, enabling them to establish an income-generating business and become self-sufficient.

This program – oriented towards enabling self-sufficiency – assists families through vocational and job training in an effort to contend with the significant rates of unemployment.  In addition to providing such training, the program also offers the capital and resources necessary for establishing an income-generating business such as: fruit/vegetable stands, street vending carts, sewing machines and livestock.
