Assistance for People with Disabilities provides for the many needs of adults and children with mental and physical disabilities.
Egypt still has a long way to go in terms of the resources and access provided to its disabled population. Distinct from Medical Assistance, this program serves individuals with both physical and mental disabilities, integrating them into society. It also provides people with physical disabilities prostheses as well as a variety of medical equipment including wheelchairs, hearing aids, crutches, etc.
